broken piece of metal !

 

will this effect my oil pressure and ruin the engine or route the oil to the wrong place??

Did you lose the piece that goes there? Sometimes you can braze it back. I don't know how that'll effect the oil. What does the outside cover look? Is it part of oil channel or is it closed.

Just curious, how that happened.

 

i still have the peice and what do you mean braze it? its closed in that surface to the case so im pretty sure i ill have to tac it in place or who knows what would happen to the engine

 

If you tear that crankcase apart that piece can be welded back on just fine.

 

ill clean it good and cover up the gears from splatter with rags and get a shop to weld it to lazy to remove everything

 

You won't have room to weld it if the gears are there.

 

If you don't do this the right way, the chances of loosing the engine are high.
