Default Unknown coolant leak 98 Integra ls

So I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have an 98 Integra LS I got into a minor fender bender a month ago. The accident took out everything in the front of the car including the raidiator and pushed down the support. There was no visible damage to the engine and the car still ran and drove (had it towed back though) anyways I replaced what was broken including the radiator. But I drove it down the block and back and I noticed it was steaming white smoke so I checked everything connected to the raidiator and all the hoses were fine. But there’s a leak coming from the middle of the engine and dripping near the oil pan. Would there be anything in that area that would have gotten damaged that I overlooked? The car ran fine before the accident so it has to be accident related. Water pump couldn’t be the issue I’m guessing. But idk I’m stumped. Any help appreciated. Thanks

I'd check the water pipe at the back of the engine. The ends could of already been corroded, and the crash possibly gave it enough force to make it start leaking.

his car is an automatic. Likely, the two coolant hardlines running to/from the bottom portion of the radiator are damaged/loose.

Try the lines going to the intake manifold. I just blew a line on my integra that goes to the electric idle sensor on the back of the intake.

Update: I gave up on looking for it and took it to a mechanic. Apperently it was the water pump that was leaking. I hope he didn’t just do a visual diagnostic because I would have just guessed that except that the car was running fine with no leakes before the accident. Gonna save up the money to get the pump fixed. I’ll update when it’s replaced. Thanks for all the reply’s.

Update again: It turned out the shop misdiagnosed the problem. Wasn’t the water pump. I had the pump/belt changed out by another mechanic and it was still leaking. Mechanic did an actual inspection and it turned out my worries were correct and the accident made a crack either in the “timing cover” or the “block” and I would need to replace the engine. Sucks I just dumped $500 on something that wasn’t the problem. But I hope by posting this update nobody makes the same mistake as me. Currently trying to sell the car for what I can right now because I could’ve just bought a new car with the money I dumped into the Integra. I just didn’t want a good car go to waste oh well....

Some mechanics will tell you anything to get your money. Make sure. Try other mechanics, for more diagnosis.

I honestly think you got hustled and its not cracked! "crack either in the “timing cover” or the “block”" this statement proves they still were not able to figure out the issue and just told you the engine is no good! I have been in a worse front end accident and the front end was completely gone and the engine survived im just saying until you get a picture or shown the crack leaking I would still try and get the leak checked.. That sounds bogus bro.

got to autozone and loan a tool the cooling system tester(not sure what its called exactly) you connect it to the radiator and pump it up, it puts pressure on the cooling system, you should be able to find the leak that way
