I need some help I bought a 2000 Honda Civic hatch shell it had no motor I put a y8 in it I didn’t have a wire harness for the engine so I found a 96 Honda Civic part out I took the harness the dizzy ecu everything I needed everything plugs in but we’re i connect the ecu there’s an extra plug it cuz the inside harness is from a 2000 wat should I do I also took the inside harness of the 96 civic should I change the inside harness to would it work lmk really need the help

 

1996 Civic = OBD2a
2000 Civic = OBD2b

Your harness is not compatible with your ECU.

You need an OBD2a to OBD2b jumper harness and a vacuum cleaner (that last bit was a joke).

Also, I’m not sure if the terminals in that green connector will match up 100% either.
