Hello and thank you to anyone willing to try and help. Basically i pulled the engine on my 93 del sol and did some work to it about a year ago. Got the engine back in the car, hooked everything up and it had a solid CEL, but it was still running pretty decent for a while! Anyways, one day i go out to try and mess around with the tune on it and the fuel pump wouldn't prime. I've checked everything from swapping ecu, fuel pump, fuel relay, checked ALL grounds. I really don't really know what else to do other than take her to the damn scrapyard at this point. This is my first project car and iv'e spent so much time working on it, I would really love to be able to just pull it out of the driveway and drive it for once. Thanks again!

 

What was the CEL code? That might be start

 

FIXED!! Power wire to fuel pump was cut and not making proper connection

 

Removing and re-installing the engine doesn't get anywhere near the fuel pump wiring... how did that get cut ???

Pulling an engine will def cause a cel because there are sensors that the ecu is not seeing, engine out of the car.

 

incompetent install of the fuel pump likely. Yeah, I'm betting that's the case here.
