On the side molding pieces that go on each door, there are 2 clips. One is a clip that sits within the groove of the molding and then the second clip attaches he molding to the body of the car. Honda sell the second clip no problem but do not sell the first, instead they were sold with the molding only, which of course now is a discontinued part.

I'm desperately short of these first clips and wondered if anyone knew of anywhere to get hold of them as my only option is wreckers of which there aren't many close by. Or even better if someone has some for sale, i'd happily throw a few bucks their way, even if it meant buying the whole molding.

 

If you can provide someone with a good 3D printer an original (maybe glued together), they should be able to get one printed. Price might be high, but I believe they are unobtainium.

 

I was curious if someone was doing this and could point me to someone that might do it as a service, i'll have a look into this. I definitely have some in tact right now, just missing about 4
