Default RT4WD wagon axle question

Bought an 89 rt4wd civic wagon, swapped the dead d16a6 for a d15b2.
But, there are no bolt holes for the half shaft on the d15b2 block. I have a few questions;

Is there an unequal length axle with the rt4wd spline count that i can replace the half shaft with?
Would there be issues if i leave the half shaft bracket unbolted?

Yes. Don't do that.

I don't think the halfshaft will clear the transfercase without the intermediate shaft.
