Hello everyone!!! Ok so I purchased a set of Buddy club super low racing seat brackets and hardware from JHP to installed my JDM Recaro seats. I get the seat brackets here finally after being in back order for two months and they do not work at all. It’s literally impossible to mount my Recaro seats using them. Since my Recaro seats mount from the bottom and not from the sides. I even purchased the bottom mounting brackets from then which were supposed to allow
me to mount my seats. None of the holes line up, and they are just not going to work. Anyone had to modify them to fit? Or is there some other brand I can use that’s direct bolt on?? Any advice would help. Thanks guys.

These brackets and adapter plates and DC5 Recaro seats.

Any DC2, ,DC5, Speed, etc Recaro will use the same bottom mount rails. The buddy club rails are for side mount recaros.

I'm not familiar with any adapter plates.

You're looking for the rails that look like this. You can use Integra Type R ones, but only 3 of the bolts will line up. The EK9 Civic Type R rails are a direct bolt in for the 98 civic you own.
