Have a 2000 civic ex. Runs good, it's my girlfriends car and it has a problem. Recently got new tires, alignment, and new rack and pinion. When I drive ok the freeway though, it has this problem to where the car wants to sway left to right out of no where. I know I need new struts but could that be the problem?

 

Does it make any noise, or shimmy when driving it? Or is it just pulling left to right?

 

No shimmy or noise, it just pulls left and/or right when going 50+ , had to pull off the freeway and take backroads to work, it feels that unsafe. It almost feels like the sway is coming from the rear

 

Sway bar maybe? Maybe sway bar link?
