What size belt would I need to bypass the ac compressor on my 01 civic EX 1.7L v-tech? I don't use the ac and never will and would like to have it bypassed and cause it is about to seize up and I don't want that. Please help me on this. Thanks

 

I have done this on other cars, for power steering or ac or something. It is pretty easy to cut the old belt and get an idea what size you need. Then take it to the autoparts store. The last digits of the part number correspond to the length in inches. You may want to get a size above and a size below what you think you will need then return the unused belts. Sorry I don't have the exact part number but maybe someone else can chime in.
