Default 1995 Del Sol VTEC Disc Brake Question!

Hey Everyone,

Looking for some help here regarding my 1995 Del Sol VTEC and the suspension/disc brakes.

Last year I hit a barrier while driving and bent the spindle on the rear, right trailing arm. I didn't realize how big of a problem this was until I realized that finding a trailing arm with ABS that will fit, is nearly impossible. Looking for a Civic Si with ABS that is being parted out near me is impossible, and the other submodels of the Del Sol do not come with ABS.

However, I do see a good few trailing arms online that would fit, but they do not have ABS. I am wondering if it is possible to go ABS to non ABS, and if so, what would I need to do to make it work? Or if anyone knows where I can get a trailing arm/disc conversion with ABS. It's like finding a needle in a haystack.

Thanks.

What makes a non-ABS trailing arm NOT fit an ABS vehicle? Mounting tabs for the sensor?

I'm not too sure. I believe everything is the same except for where the the ABS sensor mounts on. I picked up a trailing arm off of a 95 integra from my pick n pull (which ended up not lining up properly-not due to the ABS sensor but it was like 1" too short) and the only difference was that on the ABS trailing arms, there are 4 holes on the arm to mount the sensor to, and on the non ABS arm, those holes weren't there.

So if everything is the same, minus an ABS sensor, and I decide to use a non ABS trailing arm, what will I need to do?

I have attached a photo of the non-ABS hub/spindle assembly where there would normally be 4 holes for the ABS mount

Yes, it doesn't have the opening for the sensor.

So would I not be able to use a non ABS trailing arm then?

Are integra RTAs interchangeable? If del sol is the same as the 5g civic, then so is the teg. Should be easier to find and most came with abs.

I'm not 100% sure, depending on the model, but I took a RTA off of a 1995 integra and when I went to see if it would fit, the arm ended up being like 1 inch short and the bolts obviously wouldn't line up.

damn sucks.... Does the non-abs arm have a spot for an abs sensor? I'd venture into trying to drill the holes for the sensor plus bolt holes too.
