95 civic hatch dx 330k stock other than intake/exhaust,
wet day, ran fine during the drive i stopped to make a phone call for about 15 min while idleing, went to drive away and hesitating farting running like on 3cyls... Air filter, cap and ecu all dry. No sign of head gasket leak. Had about 35 miles after filling up from less than 1/4 tank fuel, so i figured check pressure/fuel at rail. Popped the cap on what ive found to be the fuel pulse dampner and something fell. I have a ex coupe parts car which i checked and was able to remove a screw and reinstall on the dx. Restarted the car, still running bad, started wiggling injector connections and it started to run ok...

what was the issue? Injector or the missing screw?
I cant find any info on the screw itself just the basic part... But also in the research it seemed like the dx did not have this style/part, but
i own...
Daily driven 95 dx 1.5(b7?) non vtec, has the fpd...
Parts 94 ex coupe 1.6z6, has the fpd...
Parts 93 cx hatch 1.5b8, does not have the fpd

 

Still running ok, but im right around 1/2 tank fuel @ 87 miles
