Hey guys, on a 1996 civic ex wiring harness there are 5 plugs that run across the top off intake manifold along the injectors. I know that 4 of those plugs go to the injectors. But my question is for what is the 5 plug for. I thought I was for the intake air temp since it suppose to go the manifold. but don't know guys need a little help thanks. I am swapping in a 1997 gsr in the civic. I know I havew to change the plug to get the plug and sensor to go together. Thanks guys.

 

That plug is typically for the purge/cut solenoid. If the wire colors in the two wire black plug that you are referring to are red and yellow/black (could also be black/yellow), then it is definitely NOT the IAT sensor plug... it would be the purge/cut plug. The IAT sensor plug would have a red/yellow and a green/black wire in the plug.
