I just traded a buddys uncle to help him out for an 03 element with the 2.4 & it had a miss & misfire codes for every cylinder so after checking the injectors & coil packs i found that smthen was up with num one cylinder so i thru my compression tester on it & it has lil to no compression in that cylinder basically it will try to build about 20psi then before i can even get back to under the hood it will be back at zero so i pulled the shrader valve out of my compression tester & put some air into the cylinder (at tdc compression stroke) & it seemed to be leaking out the intake but then i pulled the valve cover off & tryed again & now it seems to be leaking out of a few of the other cylinders? I am totally confused & really not sure what is wrong with this thing & could really use some help thank you for any advice you have!

really? Hmm it doesnt get hot or have water in the oil or oil in the water? it doesnt have exhaust gases comen out the radiator? Or coolant out the tailpipe? & it doesnt use or loose any coolant & when i did the compression test only one cylinder had low compression it doesnt have any signs whatsoever of a head gasket issue just a misfire Issue?

 

You said you heard it escaping into other cylinders. A fault between 2 cylinders won't mix oil or water. It could also be a bent valve.
