Default 2017 sport cvt slipping

My 2017 accord started off idling and cruising at low rpms rougher than usually., it also seemed less responsive. Today I had to pull out into traffic on a busy road and my rpms shot up to almost 6k with going too far in a hurry. What is causing my cvt to slip?

Honda has a 5 year/60k mile warranty on the power train on top of the existing 3 year/36k mile warranty on everything else including the battery.

Assuming you're within that window you should consult your local dealer.

Well CVT's are a gimmick imo. Way too many problems imo. Manual Transmission FTW :D
