Default Is this from a shift linkage seal

Im new to working on things myself so dont judge me haha but is this from a shift linkage seal that goes into the trans ? It first started from the shift linkage boot seal area. And now I just noticed im missing the whole boot ? Picked up this trans from Jdmofcalifornia with roughly 75k miles back in August and have barely put 3k miles on my swap

Did you rule out the axle seals and input shaft seal?

Clean the oil from the surfaces and then trace the new oil that appears.

yeah No leaks or axel grease coming from those areas. I remember when I was bolting up my exhaust there was some dried oli substance on that seal and my trans was clean at the time (2/3 months go by) I changed my header n did oli change and thats when I noticed oli on the bottom of my trans only.

This is my first manual and also my first car I started working on things my self. I thought It looked bad to me but wasn’t too sure. That seal would be the one causing my leak correct? It started from that shift linkage seal area and im missing the boot month or so goes by and now my bottom of trans started to get covered in oli. Yeahhh I just answered my own question 🤦🏻Sorry guys

Unsure, you'll have to clean up that mess to see where its coming from. That seal should be replaced and the proper boot covering that part of the linkage.
