Hey guys, I just bought a 96 civic for pretty cheap. The engine ran long enough to get it on the trailer and off of it. I know I’ll need to take it appart and I’m pretty familiar with d series engines but to my surprise this car has a sohc zc which i know nothing about. I did some research and it’s my understanding this is a jdm engine. Its a sohc non v block engine code “zc” with a non v head code “p2a-8” and it has a “p2n” ecu. What confuses me is I thought this motor was obd1 and I don’t see a jumper harness on the dizzy. He told me he swapped the computer also so I’m not even sure if it’s got the rite ecu. I just wanna make sure everything i have works together correctly before i start working on the motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I honestly don’t know. It looks lile an ex but they all kind of look the same. Theres no badges on the trunk and the guy I bought it from didn’t even know what engine he had lol. What ecu should i be running?It’s a 5spd btw. And also is that a zc head or is it from another motor?
