Default Tail lights not working fuse blowing

My tail lights aren’t working I checked the fuses and number 8 I believe was blown I replaced it and turned the lights on and it blew again. Recently I saw smoke coming from behind the driver seat area. I checked for continuity to ground at the plug for the brake lights and all four wires had continuity to ground. Only two should if I’m not mistaken. Then on the right side tail light plug 3 of the four had continuity to ground. I’m looking for a wiring diagram for the lights. How would y’all go about finding where the smoke was.

If you have carpet still, I would take it up and look for burns. Should point you in the right direction. I would bet it's in the lower door jam area, where the wires usually trail.
