Default Water in oil?

Hey guys i just changed my head gasket and had the head resurfaced and valves changed on my 2000 prelude h22a4 motor. I drained the oil and water out before i put the reworked head on. Both the radiator and oil pan had a mix of water and oil in them. So after i put everything back on new head gasket and head. I ran the car for a little bit. I still had water in the oil/motor but didnt have any oil in the radiator. Could it just be left over water in the bottom of the oil pan? Or something else?

yes, could just be some that didn't come out.
with fresh oil and filter, drive some more, then do another oil change while the engine is still hot. That should flush it all out.

is it water or is it coolant that is in the oil?
Was it just a little milky? Or did a bunch of actual water/coolant come out before any oil came out?
