I have an 86 Civic Si with 330,000 original miles. I'm also the original owner. I drove her off the lot in 1986. She is the best car in the universe. I get stopped about once a week by people wanting to buy my car. No way! I want to be driven to my own funeral in that car, that's all there is to it. Yeah, she leaks a little oil & does the IAC valve-related voom-voom thing, but she still starts every day & gets close to 40 mpg on the freeway. I calculated that I've changed her oil 110 times. I'll never look at another girl ever.

The third generation Civics are great cars. My first car was a `87 Civic.
