Hi guys,
I'm in the middle of replacing my head gasket and I destroyed one of my hoses. I've been to every parts store and no one seems to know what hose this is. Best guess is this heater hose but it doesn't look right to me... unless this is just a generic picture they use... https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...168882&jsn=367

The car is a 1996 Honda Civic EX Coupe. Thanks for any help!

You can use generic bulk 5/8 hose

That is the heater hose that comes out of the head under the distributor and goes to the heater control valve

 

Would be best to buy the pre-bent one from a Honda dealer. The cross reference numbers on the RockAuto site don't look like Honda part numbers.

People have also had decent results with the colorful silicone hose sets sold on Ebay.

Yeah, I'd like to get one pre-bent; but I'm having trouble finding it. I can't find the part number for it or the name of the hose.

 

go to the dealer and ask them to look it up.
