Car: 99 Civic EX, was A/T prior to swap
Engine: '98 b18b1, running the car's original wiring harness on it
Ecu: p06 (virgin), ebay special obd-2b to 1 harness

Here's the story- completed the swap today, everything connected and wired. Car would crank, no start. I carefully listened for the fuel pump priming, nada. The main relay does its initial click, but no prime. Checked fuses related, cleaned and checked g101, still no dice. I am stumped.... Help?

 

apply power to the fuel pump wire and see if it runs?

 

that's the plan for tomorrow, i have no idea why it isn't working. first time i've dealt with something like this. should add- the ecu is known good

 

i don't need to shuffle a16 and a15 on this given as i'm not using an integra ecu, correct?

 

I think the jumper harness did that, thats what I was thinkin was to switch that back next.

 

i haven't switched them. i might try just to see what happens.

 

I recall using an obd2b => obd2a in an em1 to use an obd2a p75 but I never had to repin

 

normal diagnostics < general fuckery. previous owner of the shell decided to cut into the fuel pump wiring, begin to wire in some kind of switch, and leave disconnected wiring. They did, however, put everything back together, seat pan included for the ultimate in fucksneakery. Wiring repaired properly, pump now primes.

yep. had to do the iacv conversion... all is well. now to socket and chip the p06.

 

 

purrs like a walrus. gotta change out the o2, messed it up on install.
