Are most turbocharger rebuild kits the same? Are they interchangable?

I’m looking at a precision 76gts that needs rebuilt,all the kits I see say t3/t4 so are the internals as far as seals and gaskets all the same

Nope. Precision uses their own internals as of 2006. Now, if it's older than that, it's possible to use a Garrett system. But not Turbonetics.

trim is just a calculation between inducer and exducer of a compressor and turbine wheels. Not internal structure

So if I buy a t4 rebuild kit it should have all the rift stuff in it

Again, you gotta know what what year the precision is.. you're going to have to take a risk after you take your turbo apart. Sorry.
