In an effort to keep H-T alive I'm going to keep posting build threads! My last one has been hiding in the EF section of H-T however, over the course of the build thread I have been building a ton of different projects. I hope you don't mind having random content, I will be posting pictures/youtube videos from all of my builds going on as I work on them.
Huge thanks to Office Sign Company, Vibrant, IPG, and TF for the sponsorships for my builds in 2018-19 seasons! I could not do it without you guys!
Firstly my 88 Honda Crx Si - I have owned this car for 17 years at this point, the car first got a B16 swap in 2005. It has been rebuild over, and over again through the years. This is how it sits today!
Built LSvtec, .6o trim Garret turbo, New paint, new OEM 1991 front end (Got it in 2010 before they were gone forever)
Pictures from a car show in 2009
Took the car appart for paint 2018
Car at the fab shop before I took the engine out for paint. Polished Vibrant goodness...
Needed new rockers/quarters even though it was a Cali car that never saw snow, it must have been my old garages humidity that destroyed it. Still makes me upset.
Next build is my 2018 Honda Civic Si! I picked this up in July. It has about 400 miles on it, and mostly has a few factory CTR options with TE37's.
Day I picked it up with 3 miles on it. Wheels + Chrome delete. I have lowering springs but the wheel offset is too aggressive to lower it currently with out adding camber. CTR badging, HFP floor mats, OEM trunk tray are the mods so far.
I got this car from CraigsList for $300 running, this is after I already started working on it. Car was total junk, BUT all stock! Two months later, welded quarters in, build was coming together. 3 months after first buying the car it had a super budget turbo y8, that ran a 12.5@106, this build was so fun! I cut a 1.5 60ft with this setup, open diff. Craigslist GSR that had perfect compression for $500, ITR tranny. Office sign Company wrapped the car bringing it to the next level! We only got one track day with the car at the end of the season with the turbo GSR, it ran a 12.6 after 3 passes, the car was tuned on the track.
Let me know if you want more info on any build, and I can post more pictures or info.
Another Criagslist find, managed to pick up this running 2003 for $2,5oo Engine bay was clean! $300 on ebay later Some rollers, everything bolted up nicely Got a brand new OEM AP2 front bumper, and quarter. Ripping the totalled one off the car. Cleaning it up under the car Office Sign Company is going to wrap the s2000 to match the rest of our Myriad Motorsports racecars! Follow us on IG for more pictures of the team.
This car is being built to race in the street class time attack at Gridlife midwest in 2019! Already got tickets for Mid Ohio, I have CR aero, harness, R1 coilovers, RPF1's 17x9, all on the way for the car.
Big thanks to TFworks for the hookup on the R1's Rusty junk bad bodywork More bad bodywork New wheels RPF1 17x9 with 235/45/17 Got a little too low lol Looking meaner
LSvtec together, GSR LSD tranny, Comp clutch, light weight flywheel, COP, Engine should be good for 5oo hp Just mocking everything up s2000 looking sexy before the wrap.
Is that your garage or a building you rent? I wouldn't know what to do with all that space.
We own the building.
I feel the same way, coming from working in a single stall garage nearly my entire life it is really weird. - Side note if you decide to do the same floor texture we did, it acts like camo for anything you drop on it. Drop a bolt, good luck finding it.
Do you plan to drive all those cars, or just building them and selling them?
This is a great question, one I'm currently battling with myself. Ended up with too many projects.
The Crx is going to be a street car I'm hoping to put a ton of miles on.
The Eg "Zero" hatch is a drag only car for drag track events.
The S2000 is a car I'm hoping to drive on the streets, but is built for Roadracing. (Gridlife TA street)
The 10th gen is a summer DD, I'm looking at selling.
Ridgeline for the rest of the rainy or snowy weather.
