1994 civic hatch , rear hatch latch mechanism issues
hatch wont latch
i feel like dr Seuss but I have a hatch that just won't latch
i tried adjusting it a bit but now again, it just won't fit.
turned out one nut was stripped somehow and afterwards I couldn't figure out how to adjust it so that it would close.
so the little light is on in the dashboard, always red...
it seems to seal pretty good without the latch but sometimes it gets a bit wet when it rains
any ideas? Thanks!

Yes, that part was loose so I tightened it down and then had to adjust it and it worked, loosened and then didn't work anymore
