Default New ride- 90 civic wagon

so just bought a new ride two days ago. Paid 540 bucks for it and he drove it a hr and half to bring to me. (My eg is down with a bent valve after my timing belt broke) so this seems to be a very rad car especially for so cheap. Well I think it’s super cheap. The only problem I have with the car is it’s auto and it’s in limp mode😵 won’t redline lil past 3k rpm. Not sure at all what that is about. Waiting for it to warm up to look into it more. Was very glad to see it’s prettg free of rust. Not something u see everyday on a 90s Honda.

Thanks guys.
So it’s almost been raining non stop since I bought the car. Not had chance to really look at it.
I have a leak somewhere in front driver side. I think it’s the top left side of the windshield. I had it parked slightly up hill in my apt parking lot. I turned it around so windshield was pointing down during all this rain and well I got it to stop pouring in lol.

Back to that one problem I knew it had. It’s in limp mode. I was able to pull code and it was code 8. Looking up that’s tdc position. So I’m trying to find a dizzy for my d15b2. No luck at all. I have one Honda buddy near me but he is being a dick about selling/trading it. (Thinks his gf wants to leave him for me so he is being weird)
can anyone help me on what dizzy can I use?
thanks

Well I just said screw it and bought a dizzy from amazon. I couldn’t find a used dizzy anywhere. No junkyards or any Honda guys local to me.
If it last even a year I’ll be happy.
But it also comes with a 3 year warranty

Ok so I replaced the dizzy finely. The car is nite and day deference. Runs and drives so much better. Picks up speed soooo much better. It’s not running with check engine light on now. But I do end up with the check engine light on and running rough with sputters and back fires when I floor it or get the rpm to around 5k. I can pull over or put the car in “n” turn the car off. Left sit off for a second then restart it and it’s right back to fine till I floor it or high rpm then it does it all over again. I would think timing due to i just did the dizzy but why wouldn’t the timing be messed up across all rpm not just high rpm. It’s not like it’s a vtec head or anything.
Any suggestions?

You could try a new set of plugs and a new fuel filter. But when mine acted up like that it needed a fuel pump. And in a fwd wagon that means dropping the tank. Do not reuse any of the old hose clamps, I had the return line blow off and emptied half the tank. I have a white 91 fwd automatic.
