So I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX coupe I was told and right on the forms that the 96 through 2000 ex models only and that the engine harness wiring harness all other plugs on the diagram to the plugs to the computer are all the same.
this is what I want to try but wanted to know if anyone had tryed doing this to.
So I have a 97 ex engine harrness with a jumper harrness to obd1 an I just picked up a 2000 ex coupe now I know the 2000 ex has obd2b an the last plug that goes into the computer is different then the 98 so because the ex harrness I was told that are identical other then the last plugs that plugs into the computer so I didn't know if I depinned off and switched the plugs around on harnesses if it would work the same as getting a jumper harness

 

If you're not comfortable at depinning than I wouldn't try it.
