Trying to trouble shoot a 2002 Honda Civic LX, auto 160K that I bought for my daughter last yr.

So far I have replaced radiator, hoses, done complete timing belt, water pump, pulley, replaced coils, spark plugs, oil change, valve cover gaskets.
Yet, today I get distress the car has again put her down in traffic...was driving fine, started losing speed, started vibrating, and white smoke came form tail-pipe and just eventually came to a halt.
She was able to keep it running and get up enough momentum to pull into convenience store and await a tow truck?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check for a blown head gasket - very common on these engines.

just spoke with my local mechanic...he says the car is driving around like a TOP!
Not a problem in the world!
I told them to run a comprehensive diagnostic on the entire car.

We''l see...I'm thinking its Corolla or Camry time!
