Default Need help with wiring coding

Hello everyone I have a 99 ex civic that I swapped a 00 jdm b20 into. Can anyone help me out with the wiring/color coding for the connectors that go to the Fan and temp gauge I feel like I have them mixed up :/ cause my temp gauge dont work and I dont want to drive it and over heat .

The shown wiring is correct.

The wire for the temp gauge sending unit is actually Yel/Grn.

which one would be the temp gauge sending unit ? The one on the Thermostat housing ? Im new to swaps and my bubby who helped out with the wiring isn’t here at the moment to show me

The one in the end of the head with the single wire (yellow-green) drives the dash gauge. That is all that it does. The one with two wires in the end of the head operates the ECU, and the one in the thermostat housing is an on-off switch that turns the radiator fan on.

To check the gauge circuit, ground the yellow-green wire at the sensor, then go and turn the key on. The gauge should rapidly go up towards hot. (Turn the key off immediately after you see that to avoid damage). If the gauge doesn't move check the yellow-red wire and the gauge itself. If the gauge does move, the problem is either the sensor itself, or that the engine really does not warm up -- which will happen if the thermostat is bad or missing.
