I'm having an issue with my speedometer where it will start randomly jumping around sometimes at higher speeds like between 60 and 80 mph. It only does it for a few seconds then goes back to acting normal .The car is a 98 ex sedan. And ideas??? Thanks!

 

it could be that your speed sensor is failing. check that, it sits on the back side of your trans.

 

Post the CEL codes and check dash fuse 15.

 

Most common issue is connector at the sensor on the transmission has a short or corrosion on the actual pin in the connector

If there is no check engine light and the connector is clean the speedometer could be having issues

If the check engine light is on the ecu can not see the signal. You would need to post the trouble code

If 3 codes for oxygen sensor 1 and 2 and vehicle speed sensor are present then fuse 15 in the lower dash panel is blown
