I have a b16a jdm crx head on a b16a2 usdm si block and I've recently hooked up all the hoses except one, I cant find where this goes, do I just block it off?
yeah, just went and checked my thermostat housing where it would connect on the other side according to the diagram and its not there. i only have 2 big fittings on my thermostat housing for the heater core and the one bypass that goes to the intake manifold.
just as i thought there is no where for it to go. i double checked everything, everything is hooked up correctly, im just left with this last one that goes no where!
I don't have my EM1 anymore so I can't go look at it and confirm routing of hoses and without seeing your set up in person or more photos of how stuff is ran currently I can only give so much help. I had the nipple you are talking about capped. I just picked up a coolant cap that was the right size and threw an extra hose spring clamp on it, I did the same thing with the nipple on the water pipe. Ran like that for years with no issues.
I"m guessing that the the jdm crz b16a had an FITV? I see 4 hoses, in the image I provided, that lead to the throttlebody.
yes I believe the head was from an 89 crx jdm, but I have my heater hoses right, i have coolant going to the throttle body and iacv I just have no clue where it would go, I guess I'll end up capping it I can post more pictures, also what is a FITV?
Water pipe on back of block to iacv, iacv to fitv (or just the nipple under the throttle body),fitv (or nipple) to the port you originially asked about. If you still had the oem breather pipe, it would go between the tb nipple (or fitv) and the nipple you asking about. Hope this makes sense.

okay yes that makes sense, I have water pipe to iacv, iacv to throttle body, throttle body to intake manifold. I do not have a fitv the breather box goes to the block on the bottom, a small hose to the block on top, and the other to the pcv then pcv to intake manifold. valve cover vent goes directly to in cold air intake. I dont have any other nipples for the one on the water inlet to go to. I looked everywhere on the head and block, and theres no other open nipples
Your IACV and the T/B both have two 5/16" coolant line fittings (or should have anyway)... basically an IN and an OUT for each. Ignoring them for a moment, count up the number of fittings remaining on the engine that match the size of the fitting you have pictured on the upper radiator water neck. These fittings can be found on the following locations: Water pipe, thermostat housing, intake manifold (especially aftermarket ones like a Skunk2 or Blox), and the previously mentioned upper radiator water neck. If you have an EVEN number, you will not need to plug or remove the fitting that you have pictured. If however, you have an ODD number of fittings, the odd fitting must either be "T"eed into the coolant circuit or plugged/removed.
Now go and count. Also, it would be helpful if you can describe how you currently have the coolant circuit connected currently... and photos will help.
