Default Newbie Going to adjust Valve leash on B20B Vtec.

Greeting to all almighty Honda-tech Master
before i start to ask questions i would like to take a minutes to thanks everyone here... for helping me and i learn alot from honda-tech.
from here i able to replace engine mounting, check for vacum leak, replace intake manifold, (without goes to workshop lol) and get the civic running smoothly.
now i started to fall in love diy with those,

Untill recently i found that alot of taping sound from my B16 head ( it corresponding with my throttle) so i guess there is only two possible problem causing this.

* 1st need to adjust the Valve leash
From what i observe B20B with B16 head are recommended with ,

INTAKE: 0.15mm-0.19mm /0.006"-0.007"
EXHAUST: 0.17mm-0.21mm/0.007"-0.008"

i never done this before so i have to grab a set of feeler gauge.
i am looking (0.14,0.15,0.16 ,0.17,0.18,0.19,0.20,0.21) so i can have very precise adjustment .
but unfortunately i only can found this

Sata Feeler Gauge
CONTENTS: 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25, 0.30, 0.35, 0.40, 0.50, 0.55, 0.60, 0.70, 0.75, 0.80, 0.90, 1.00mm
this is the closest i can get..
so can i just grab this ?

and another 1set of
2-In-1 Jam Nut Engine Valve Adjustment Tool

I believe all of us using 10mm nut so i will goes to 10MM not ( Correct me if i am wrong)..

and 2nd problem would be possible cause by the Hydraulic lifter.
i still using stock lifter from b16 (Small vtec) wording i believe is non type R.
so what is your guys advices, shall i just get type R Lifter ( i read from google it have bigger and better spring ) or is better i just get LMA skunk2 lifter for b16 ?

thanks in advances.

Adjust the valves then if they are still noisy then do lmas. The way I adjust valves is I grab a .007", .008" and .009" feeler gauges, then use the .007 as a go and .008" as no go for intake. Same for exhaust but the next size up, so .008" for go .009" no go. When the gap is adjusted correctly you'll feel a moderate drag on the feeler gauge and the next size up won't fit in unless forced.

B series vtec is a 10mm nut. You can do it with a wrench and ratchet/socket it's just harder. The tool is worth the money.
