Is this price: high, low, average?
The only local machine shop I’ve had luck finding, for my 1980 civic head, quoted:
$45 pressure test
$40 resurface
$250 complete rebuild
Seems fair to me. What do you guys think?

It has good reviews and an average above 4 stars where the other local shops have no or negative reviews. Since then another “decent” shop has gotten back to me.
$75 wash and compression test
$60 resurface
$279 + parts for rebuild

I took the head off yesterday but didnt bring it with me to work because I dont know what all to bring with it for a compression test. About to call the shop and find out
