5 year old fob so went through proper process to install new battery but now when trying to use it only initiates some communication when then unlock button is hit which simultaneously causes the remote's red LED light to be on. Light flashes for a brief moment and then is solid for about 8 seconds whenever you push the unlock button on the fob. Nothing happens when you hit the lock button. Pulled out and tried this a couple times, reversed the polarity as well but same things. Any additional guidance would be appreciated. Thanks
