I was driving last night, and out of no where, my battery light came on and wont turn off. The car ran fine, although when I got home, turned the car off, and tried to restart it, it just turned over and would not crank. It was late and I didnt feel like looking at it last night. I tried to crank it again this morning, and it fired right up and ran fine, but still had the battery light on. Anyone had experiences like this? What doe the battery light indicate. BTW, it is a BRAND NEW battery.

check your alternator belt and also see if your connections on your battery are tightened

Did that, and after doing some research, most people with this problem needed to replace the alternator. I suppose I will do that and see what happens. I guess I answered my own question using that very useful button up top called SEARCH.
