help w/ cafc wiring problems.. cel 3
iight fellas, got a little problem installed my vafc agian into my civic after removing it to relocate it and now im getting a CEL code 3 which is for the MAP sensor.. where did i **** up?? i have checked the wires and everything looks ok.. ive heard of vafc can make the car throw this code but i dont see why or how to fix it.. need some help..
First check your MAP wiring, then if all that checks out check your VAFC settings. If they aren't zeroed out then do soo.. Going to positive or negative on the fuel correction will cause a MAP code because it confuses the ECU... Look into it and then let us know. Peace
I agree make sure the unit is initialized correctly. When you moved it why did you have to remove the wiring off of the ECU? Why didn't you unplug the VAFC harness move the unit and plug it back in?
