best b20 sleeves
I want to do a b20b na built making about 200 whp. To do this I'd need to have built block(pistons, rods, and sleeves). My engine now has pistons and rods so what are the best sleeves for a b20 or should I look into a 84mm sleeved b18? My block is a jdm b20b if that matters.

I know sleeveing a b20 and increasing the rev limit is a recipe for disaster due to the block cracking at this point. Would it make sense to take the rotating assemly out of my b20b and swap them into a b18 block with 84mm sleeves? And keep my cammed b20 head with dual coil valve springs. It does have as is 10.5:1 comp ratio pistons.

with the amount of money you'll dump into a b20 n/a to hit 200whp, you're better off swapping for a gsr/b18c. with mild work they will hit that 200whp goal, and reliably. you could do the same with a b20 vtec setup, but i hate them. that bottom end in stock form is not meant to see the revs necessary to take advantage of a b vtec head, aside from all of the other reliability issues they carry. enjoy the b20 as is, or swap it for a better engine.
My bottom end is built so it could handle the revs and vtec but from what I've heard the block is weaker and with the smaller combussion chamber of the gsr head itd raise the comp to 12.5ish. I'm just wondering if a sleeved b20 would be with it or just do a b18c block and sleeves with my internals?
Second question would I need arp head studs for a low 10ish:1 compression ratio and a rev limit of 8200 rpm? Obviously I'd need an oil pump and block gaurd but but would I need anything else? Keep in mind my bottom end has forged pistons and rods, the head has cams and dual coil valve springs and a bosche stock size fuel pump.
