how much is this 2000 Si shell worth?
Is it worth $3800? Is it worth repairing and would you do so? How much would you spend? Need some input before i make any decisions, thanks!

Ouch. Lets see it needs a new engine, new tranny?, new ecu?, new rim and tire, body and paint work, some new interior pieces, new ignition switch, new locks?, plus all the labor and who knows what else. You have to go inspect the car, list EVERY THING it needs, add up the parts costs, add up the labor costs (doing some of it your self I assume) and see if that is less than the value of the salvaged/repaired vehicle value. Then you need to decide if that is worth it. It may turn out that you can make more money by working more hours at work or getting a second job. Only you can decide if its worth it and only if you do the math.
Man that sucks!! I feel bad for you! Just like everyone else said... need to crunch some #'s...
Can you install the motor yourself? Looks like everything is there for the most part. Prolly just need to button up the interior... Looks salavageable (sp)
Good luck on what ever you decide!
For life!
