Default The Official Formula 1 2019 Season Thread

Outrun presents the Honda-Tech.com Super Formula 1/2/3/4/E/IndyCar 2019 thread powered by MH Sub I, LLC dba Internet Brands.

The 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship is a planned motor racing championship for Formula One cars which would be the 70th running of the Formula One World Championship. It is recognised by the governing body of international motorsport, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), as the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars. The championship is due to be contested over a number of Grands Prix held in different countries throughout the world. Drivers and teams are scheduled to compete for the titles of World Drivers' Champion and World Constructors' Champion respectively. The 2019 championship is also scheduled to see the running of the 1000th World Championship race, which would be hosted in China.[1][2]

Lewis Hamilton is expected to defend his World Drivers' Champion title, after winning his fifth championship at the 2018 Mexican Grand Prix. Mercedes is expected to defend their World Constructor's Champion title after winning their fifth championship at the 2018 Brazilian Grand Prix.

The cars will be bigger.

After 12 years Red Bull will move from Renault power units to Honda power units. The Renault power unit was branded as TAG Heuer. It is hoped the Hondas will run like clockwork. New Red Bull driver Pierre Gasly has experience with Honda while driving the 2018 Toro Rosso and a Super Formula in 2017.

well I guess I'll post this here for more feed back:

Which way should I point the turtle on for this shirt?

forward with aero sucking head to the sky? (ran this way for 2 years)

Rearward for minimal drag. (its current orientation)

Also - gray or black tires? Rims are still in progress as I make them look more speedy

Falcon says:
i kinda prefer the rear facing for some reason i can't fully explain. i guess it is funny to imagine it staring at everyone behind you as you take POLE POSITIONNNN GRAZIE REGAZZII

this could have been on the first page of the '19 thread doe

gray tyres with white shoe polish on the HANKOOK lettering

Both ways are great

forward, the turtle is riding his trusty steed into battle

rearward, turtle is challenging his adversaries

gray shirt: black tires

black shirt : gray tires

Ocon is rumoured to be in a Mercedes in 2020. Maybe that closed the door for Mick. Would be cool if he’s Ferrari’s next champion.

Chances of that happening?

How? Vettel is signed thru 2020. Leclerc is probably on a multi-year. If anything Schu Jr would get sent to Sauber.

Qualifies a Sauber seventh on his debut and gets picked up by a top team for the rest of the season. :p
