Default Mini Me conversion

Ok guys, I have 2 CRXs. 1 with a 1.5. Im planning on doin a Mini Me conversion with OBD1, MPFI, and possibly coil on plug conversion as well. I've got good compression and oil pressure. It is an automatic and it's actually my wifes so she wants to kerp it automatic. But with all this, throw in a set of headers with a good exhaust, a cold air intake, and throw in some porting and polishing on the head and intake, what kind of H.P. and torque could I expect? And how about with a small turbo and cam? Im new to Hondas and really imports as well. If there is anything I'm leaving out to get an accurate estimation let me know. Mine is a 88 with a manual trans. I'm planning on doing a turbocharged b18 with an AWD conversion on it. Well let me know what you think on my Mini Me conversion.

You're new to Hondas and your wife is already driving one of these go-kart death machine?

D15 block can probably handle what you're talking about with a very mild turbo and conservative tune, but I personally think you're asking for trouble, especially with an automatic. The 1.6 block handles power much better and has a lot more aftermarket support if you bump the power farther. I would suggest you start with the minime/MPFI swap as it's fairly straightforward and shouldn't take the car down very long, and if you can scrounge a PM6 you could leave it OBD0 till you add anything else. I don't see how CoP would benefit you at all unless you're aiming to make a lot more power.

Well my wifes a good driver, I got into the 90 because it was $600 and ran. It just so happened tha I've loved these cars since the early 90s only thing was it was automatic. Fast forward 3 or 4 weeks another CRX this time a manual transmission fell into my lap for the same $600 and it runs. So my wife and I both fell in love with the cars and the Idea of doin a his and hers build. Anyhow, I thought you had to have an obd1 distributor and ECM to do operate the VTEC and MPFI conversion. But I can be wrong. Also let me ask this, will the exhaust manifold or header from a D series bolt up to a B series.

You'll need to swap to OBD1 to have ECU-engaged VTEC (there are other ways to engage it, mostly not advisable). MPFI however can be done with OBD0, you just need the right ECU; the PM6 from the SI or EX which came with MPFI.
Very little D and B series parts are compatible, exhaust and intake have very different mount patterns. There's piles of compatibility info out there, Google will help you.
