F22b to f23a dizzy trouble

Default F22b to f23a dizzy trouble

So i swapped my old f22b i didn’t have any distributor codes, but when i changed to my f23a i got a cylinder position code with is the distributor right? But what do i do replace the dizzy ? Kinda wierd that the code comes when the new motor in and not before. Plz help!

The Crank Position Sensor on the F23A is external, meanwhile the Crank Position Sensor on the F22B2 is located inside the distributor. Look into that, Hope this was of some help.

hmmm but it’s throwing a cylinder position code ? Is it the same thing ?

Don't quote me on this but I believe that the Cylinder Position Sensor (CYP), Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP), and the Top Dead Center Sensor (TDC) are all built into the distributor.
