Last night we parked our 07 Odyssey, locked, were about to walk away and realized we needed to leave something in the van. We tried to unlock it with both fobs and nothing happened. Batteries on fobs are fine. We tried to unlock driver door manually with key and key would not go all the way in like it normally does. We had to pay a locksmith to open our car.

Once it it was open, the horn alarm would not turn off. Interior power locks do nothing. Had to drive home with alarm sounding. It turned off after two minutes, but as soon as someone opens a door or pops the hood or puts the van in park, the alarm starts again. Small red light was flashing on dash as we drove home. We had to disconnect the battery when we got home to get horn to stop.

Any ideas what could cause the car to lock us out, stop power locks from working, cause the alarm to go off without stopping, and the red light on dash to flash while driving? I can’t find any posts anywhere about this issue. Thanks!
