You have had the car for months? Well, It certainly couldn't be any rubber parts from 1994. Sorry for my inexperience. Duke

what are you talking about? if it was bad mounts it would have been doing it when i got the car? not just start all of a sudden out of nowhere.. and i got the car through a trade, not in 1994.

Yeah like.My rubber tires were great months ago and like now they are wobbling and steering strange.Just have them checked. If you're fine under accelerated load yet vibrating/shaking at idle and downshift,I would check that first.

All--Go to ebay and find some standard pictures of your civic mounts.Choose lowest priced first on ebay and study the picture . They are all a 3 prong rubber design and do fail after so many miles. Some vibration is the first sign ,then, A clunk or shake. They always were a stupid design ,in my opinion, and I run solid mounts .Don't get that discussion started here though.

Inspect all, including the front torque mounts. Also check for loose or broken mount nuts and bolts.
