i have a civic ej9 1999. I have the abs light always on. I try to reset the abs code with the normal procedure connecting pin 4 and pin 9 of the obd2 port and trying to push the brake but nothong. The abs light dont flash. So no way to perform a reset. Any suggestion?

1) Jump the service connector and pull the ABS codes.

2) Erase code(s)

Doing a short on the obd2 connector is wrong... the light went out but is coning back at high speed. Any suggestion?

Short the service connector, not the OBD2 connector.

What is the ABS problem code? If this isn't fixed then the ABS light will return. But I presume this is obvious...

there should be a brown/blue 2 pin plug above the ecu. You'll have to reach in up there to get it if you haven't seen it yet. Jump it and the cel light should blink.
