o2 sensor makes me sad
I've swapped a obd2 b18b1 into my civic, i replaced the o2 sensor with a 1 wire one (new out of box) and i keep getting a cel code for it, on my d series the o2 sensor was on the front of the manifold but on the b series its behind the motor right in front of the fire wall, could this new placement be causing my code, and what can i do to fix it? Please help, regards your local idiot!
the b18 thats in your car
is your wiring still obd0?
and the ecu thats controlling that wiring also obdo?
if your answer is yes to both those questions then a 1 wire o2 would work just fine
but if your answer was no to question 1 or 2 then no
if your wiring has been changed to obd1 or obd2 then you need a 4 wire o2 sensor.
and your going to have to wire it in
let me know if you want that wiring info
and goodluck
