It smoke like **** but i guess it's alright.(smell just like some corn

why paint? I think it looks cool wrapped like that

 

my new header= pretty
wrapped header= ugly

the coating suppose to keep the moisture out
and that's my reason for it
performance ..not the look

 

Check a local Hot Rod shop. They should have it or at least know where to get it. Any Pics?

 

coat the outside of the pipes first because the wrap traps moisture between the wrap and the pipe causing accelerated rates of rust

If I'm not mistaken doesn't wrapping the header void the warrenty on it and doesn't it make the header wear down even faster? I stick to the orginal creamic coated.

 

it got hot as **** tho'
I am worry about the paint on my hood..
and you bet ya...No warrenty for mine header.

 

get the dei silver silicone, looks good and keeps the smell down... also keeps water from soaking/possible rusting headers a must

 

Who here has ever had a warranty claim on a header anyway?
