Default Wiper arm problem

guys my wiper blades are going to past the window. I tried tightening the bolt but it looks like the inside of the wiper where it conects is worn smooth and I think it should have grooves. Has anyone ran into this problems? And what’s the fix?

If they're going too far, they're positioned wrong. The damaged splines are only a problem if the wipers are no longer moving. At the point they stop moving the wiper, you'll need to replace it.

Engineers figured out that it is easier to replace the wiper arms than it is to replace the wiper mechanism so they purposely designed it so the arms are made with softer material. That is the same reason why keys wear out but locks don't.
