engine cuts out
i have a 2006 1800 sport civic , and when i drive on the motorways it has a nasty habit of just showing me the moter management lamp then shuts off . if i stop then turn the key off and then start it she runs ok for a while then again it stops running . i have changed the cranckshaft and camshaft sensors but its still happening .. can anyone help .. i love the car but its getting to a point where i can not trust it on a long run ...
Congrats on your first post.
The first thing you have to do is to hook it up to a scanner and run any codes. Even if the check engine light is off you might still have stored codes, specially if they are recurring. Report back after you do, this gives you a good idea of what to do next.

hello thanks for the advice but its been done and it showed crankshaft sensor .... changed for a new one ,,,, showed cam shaft sensor ....... changed for a new one ... then we went though the whole list from bad plugs to vacuum pipes .. still no luck..
it has on the dash a set of REV lights that only come on when i start the car ... the Eco
lights show and work great .. i was thinking that the problem could be in the connection there between lights and motor management box
