Cruise Control buttons Light up, Don't maintain speed.
Alright, I am sick of trusting my local mechanics. Here is the scoop. I bought a car with a few issues & i am resolving them. One is as follows:
Joseph.
- The cruise control switch (on/off switch on the dash board to the left of the steering column, i will refer to this as the master switch) lights up like it is functioning.
- The Cruise set switch (on the steering wheel)when it is is engaged (when the master is on) properly sets the Dash light 'ON' as if it is working.
- When those conditions are present, the cruise control doesn't maintain speed.
- F$*k me.
- I also have an SRS light on, I was told by Dealer that the car was wrecked & the sensors in the seat belt are likely the cause.
- How do i Fix this?
- Is the Master switch faulty?
- Is the SRS disabling the cruise control all together.
Joseph.
SRS does not concern the cruise control. My EP3 is doing the same thing, I believe it to be either the CC box (that pulls the cable to the TB) or the throttle body itself.
