1992 Honda Accord won’t stay running
Currently looking into buying my first Honda so please excuse me if this is a simple question. I found a 92 Accord for a steal. 2.2L with a manual trans. Seller claims that the car runs and drives but dies after a while due to the crank position sensor needing replaced. Me not being familiar with this problem at all have tried to research the problem and part up and down the internet but have found zero sensors online for it or any help. All the sensors I’ve found have been for 1995s and up. Could I get any help finding one or could it be something completely different? Planning on test driving tomorrow.
The first thing here would be to try to pull any diagnostics codes.
Make sure the check engine light actually turns on for a second while you start the car. This should be on your check list when buying any car anyways Let us know if you find any diagnostic codes

I have the same issue with my 94 accord. I changes the IAC valve, cleaned out the EGR valve and system, and changed distributor housing assembly... when I run obd scan I get 2 long flashes and 9 short flashes, a pause then repeats. Code 29? There’s no reference to it in the Haynes manual, or online?
