I can't even hook up the third spring without the adjuster shield do dad. And the parking brake bracket isn't attached to the shoe idk how to get it on there. How do I finish this brakes??

This is the oem style shoe bullshit

This is my bullshit. I had to grind the shoes open to fit the adjusters

What do you mean you had to grind the shoes?

The self adjuster piece missing in your new versus the old OEM... if you take a look at the bar the adjuster goes in, you should notice on of the ends has a dual level slot, the extra slotting is to accommodate the self adjuster ratchet piece.

You may have the wrong shoes. At the least, try holding a new shoe into the old drum and see if the diameter matches.

You have to detach the parking brake arm from the old shoe and reuse the pivot pin to attach it to the new one. The hardware kit with the springs usually includes a new clip that goes on the pin.

Same thing with the self-adjuster lever and spring. It's not there because you didn't put it there.

The forked end of the adjuster is different inside vs outside. And the screw is also different. The one with left hand threads goes on the left side of the car and vise versa. To avoid confusion of swapping parts side to side, never take both wheels apart at once.

Damn I guess I need to get those from the dealership then, I'm pretty sure I already threw away the old shoes on the pass side. Thanks for your help
